Food grade cellobiase or β-glucosidase for enhanced cellulose hydrolysis or deglycosylation
Cellobiase (β-Glucosidase) enhances the hydrolysis of cellulose into glucose. In addition, the enzyme is capable of breaking down β-glycosidic links on glycosides. Therefore, the enzyme can be used for deglycosylation of some glycosylated compounds.

Product Description
The product is produced by submerged
fermentation of a selected
fungal strain followed by purification and formulation. Cellobiase is also named β-glucosidase with the Art No. BGL.
It is a hydrolytic enzyme with the family name of β-D-glucoside
hydrolase or gentiobiase. It also exhibits transglycosidase activity.
